These unbooted Cat5e cables are made to the same high standards as the booted variants, they simply lack a strain-relief boot. This makes them easy to unplug, simple to reterminate and a robust option for any user.

The Cat.6 STP patch cables are manufactured using high quality foil/braid shielded stranded patch cable and RJ45 shielded connectors. Supplied in beige as standard, they are stocked in listed lengths only; custom versions are not available.

Category 6 cable, commonly referred to as Cat-6, is a cable standard for Gigabit Ethernet and other network protocols that are backward compatible with the Category 5/5e and Category 3 cable standards. Compared with Cat-5 and Cat-5e, Cat-6 features more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise. The cable standard provides performance of up to 250 MHz.
