The SRG-300H PTZ camera captures high-quality colour video images in corporate boardrooms, lecture theatres and training suites. Controlled remotely over standard IP networks, it’s ideal for use as either a primary or secondary camera in a wide range of visual imaging applications, from videoconferencing to remote monitoring and telemedicine.

The sensitive Exmor™ CMOS sensor assures detail-packed Full HD pictures with a high horizontal resolution. High frame rate operation at 60fps delivers more natural, blur-free reproduction of moving subjects.

Excellent low-light sensitivity (as low as 0.35 lx in High Sensitivity mode) makes the camera ideal for use in conditions of near-darkness. Unique to Sony, View-DR technology expands dynamic range for clear images under harsh backlighting with extremes of light and dark in the same scene. XDNR technology reduces image noise for crisp reproduction of still and moving objects in poorly-illuminated rooms, even when digital zoom is used.

The camera’s wide field of view makes it easier to cover everyone in the room during videoconferences. Smooth, silent PTZ operation with 16 preset camera positions makes it quick and easy to re-frame shots without disturbing presenter or other audience members. Powerful 30x optical zoom is boosted further by 12x digital zoom for high-quality close-ups of subjects far from the camera – such as a lecturer on the other side of a large auditorium.

For extra flexibility, the camera can be controlled using VISCA command protocols over standard IP networks. New PC control software allows remote adjustment of basic and advanced settings from a simple, intuitive interface. The addition of an HDMI video output simplifies direct connection of the camera to an HD videoconferencing system or PC.

Optical Performance

The 30x lens is exceptionally powerful. It allows operators to zoom in close from the back of a venue or shoot wide to capture a full conference panel thanks to its 68 degree horizontal viewing angle. For extreme close shots, a digital zoom can be deployed, while 3D noise reduction maintains clear pictures and excellent results.

Video Workflow Flexibility

Equipped with HDMI, 3G-SDI, and Ethernet outputs, the VC-A61P can be integrated with almost any AV, broadcast or IP workflow. All models support simultaneous H.264 and HEVC streaming. AV Integration and Control

Lumens VC-A61P supports both PoE (Power over Ethernet) and a 12v DC input. It also features dedicated RS-232 in-out ports, RS-422, and Ethernet-based control protocol support (including Crestron, Extron, Visca, Pelco D, FreeD, and Onvif). Video and audio data can be sent to your PC with a single USB-C. Since the terminal integrates a camera, microphone, and speakers, there is no need to prepare separate equipment.

Easy operation with just the push of a button

Volume control, muting, and video mode selection can be intuitively operated using buttons on the control panel of the main unit. The LED ring also informs the user of the operating status by color. You can check whether the microphone is on or off, etc., at a glance.

Common issues that occur in web conferencing, such as not knowing who is speaking, waiting for someone to speak, and howling can be eliminated.

Four cameras capture 360-degree horizontal images, so when placed in the center of a conference room, participants at any seat can be seen in high quality and realistic images. The microphone also cover a wide 360-degree horizontal area and can recognize voices from a radius of up to five meters. The system also features echo and noise cancellation and volume equalization, which automatically adjusts to make it easier to hear participants, eliminating the sound trouble that can be a challenge in web conferencing. The system supports natural communication with people participating in a conference at a distance by collecting and amplifying clear sound.

It is possible to focus on the speaker or to display a fixed whiteboard

Five different video modes allow meetings to proceed with the camera layout best suited for communication. For example, by using Multi view, a green bar indicating the speaker is lit on the PC on the remote worker, making it easy to recognize the speaker. Remote work participants will be able to read the expressions on the office side of the room and know when to speak up.

Functional size and sophisticated design

The slim shape and seamless fabric netting create a discreet appearance that is unobtrusive even when placed in the center of a conference table. Equipped with a 1/4-inch tripod fixing screw hole

The bottom of the unit is equipped with a 1/4-inch screw hole, so it can be fixed to a tripod and permanently installed in a location other than on a desk. It is also equipped with a Noble Wedge lock security slot1, which can be connected to a security wire to protect valuable equipment from being stolen in case of theft.

Fine settings can be made on the PC, including picture quality adjustment and setting changes.
