The Cat8 Ethernet Cable features snagless 50-micro gold-plated connectors that enable a precise fit to minimize wear and are rated beyond 750 connector mating cycles. The flexible Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) flame-retardant jacket emits low smoke and toxic fumes when exposed to extreme heat or in the event of a fire. The Maxxam XXtreme Cat5e U/UTP 4 pair Outdoor Unshielded Ethernet Cable offers Cat5e standards compliant performance and supports high speed protocols up to 1G Ethernet.

The cable can be used externally between buildings and supports all the IP applications designed to run over Cat5e.
The U/UTP construction consists of eight colour coded 24AWG polyethylene insulated conductors which are twisted together into 4 pairs.
The overall diameter of just 5mm enables tighter bend radii (just 24mm after installation) and facilitates the installation of more cables in a given size of containment.
Supplied in a 305m Reelex Box, multiple cables are easily installed without the need for axle stands and the 305m to 1m cable metre marking makes it easy to determine precisely how much cable remains in a box.
