The DPE-101GI Gigabit PoE Injector is designed to supply a power and data connection to PoE devices such as an IP Camera or Wireless Access Point. The IEEE 802.3af compliant DPE-101GI gives you the ability to mount your PoE device virtually anywhere in a building, such as on ceilings or near entryways, by eliminating the need for a nearby power outlet and attached power supply. D-Link’s DPE-101GI combines electrical power with a Gigabit network connection and produces a Gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE) signal, allowing a single Ethernet cable to carry both data and power to a device.
Cost Efficient Flexibility Deploying the DPE-101GI saves both installation costs and equipment costs, allowing a single RJ-45 Ethernet cable to carry both power and data to each device. This reduces cables, eliminates the need for dedicated electrical outlets on the wall, ceiling, or other unreachable place, and most of all, reduces installation time. The Power over Ethernet solution frees IP surveillance cameras and wireless AP deployments from the restrictions of power outlet locations. High Speed Connectivity The DPE-101GI Gigabit PoE Injector is designed to be deployed in situations where high bandwidth is demanded. Examples where the DPE-101GI is ideal include powering network devices such as wall mounted PTZ (Pan, Tilt & Zoom) network cameras, ceiling mounted PTZ dome network cameras, video and voice over IP (VoIP) telephones, and wireless LAN access points. |
The LevelOne POI-2012 is a Power over Ethernet injector that not only delivers a cost-effective solution for power distribution, but also provides a seamless way of deployment on the existing LAN infrastructure. With the use of power injectors, DC power of up to 15.4W and the data that comes from a non-PoE switch are merged together and then transmitted to the 802.3af compliant products such as PoE dome cameras through the Ethernet cabling. Hence, preserving your investment in hardware upgrade without the need for buying extra PoE switches. Furthermore, non-PoE devices like wireless access points can also be powered up remotely by adding additional PoE splitters, since power and data are further split into two cables, therefore these devices may be installed in hard-to-reach areas like ceilings where there are no any outlets or electrical wiring nearby.
